Okiar Serviços Empresariais Ltda. (Okiar Intelligence), Brazilian company registration (CNPJ) 41.554.597/0001-01, headquartered in São Paulo/SP, is a market research, consumer insights, and data science consultancy. This policy explains how we handle personal data on our website and in our research activities, in compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais, Law No. 13,709/2018).
We use cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the site and to improve your experience. This data is processed in aggregate form. When you fill out a contact or quote form, we collect only the data needed to respond to your request (such as name, email, and company), on the basis of legitimate interest or of pre-contractual procedures.
We conduct opinion and market research with participants recruited through our own panels or partner panels, upon consent given at the moment of participation. We collect survey responses linked to pseudonymized identifiers, basic sociodemographic profile data, and minimal technical data (such as IP address), the latter used exclusively for quality control and fraud prevention, on the basis of legitimate interest. We do not collect sensitive personal data or unnecessary direct identifiers, such as taxpayer numbers (CPF) or home addresses. Results are delivered to our clients in aggregate form. When we deliver microdata, it does not contain information that identifies participants.
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with suppliers that support our operation (such as respondent recruitment panels and the Microsoft 365 cloud infrastructure), subject to confidentiality and data protection obligations, or when required by law or by a competent authority.
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes of each project or to comply with legal, contractual, or audit obligations. After those periods, the data is securely deleted.
We adopt technical and administrative measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access control with multi-factor authentication, the principle of least privilege, and environment monitoring.
Under article 18 of the LGPD, you may request confirmation that processing exists, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion, portability, information about sharing, and withdrawal of consent. If you took part in research recruited through a partner panel, the registration that makes it possible to identify you belongs to that source panel. In those cases, we will direct you to exercise your rights with the panel as well, cooperating to the extent within our reach.
